Dr. ESZTER PAKUCS
Lawyer
Owner of the Law Office since 2001, attorney-at-law, Dr. Eszter Pakucs has 15 years experience in the field of property law, company mergers and takeovers, corporate law and capital market transactions.
She regularly represents her clients in the course of entering into sale and purchase agreements for real estate and other legal matters in relation to property ownership and related commercial law. She has experience also in the field of project financing, company foundation, amendment of corporate documents, debt management, bankruptcy and liquidation, and she provides legal advice with respect to labour law.
Before founding her own Law Office, Eszter worked as a senior lawyer at international law firm Allen & Overy, as a member of the company takeover and capital markets departments, where she participated in some major privatisation projects, for example: TVK, MATÁV, MOL and the sale and stock exchange listing of Synergon. She also advised a number of banks and corporations concerning banking, corporate and securities law. She undertook a number of postgraduate courses at Allen & Overy Capital Markets department, which specialised in international debenture and share issuance. Before joining Allen & Overy, she also worked at Déri & Co a Hungarian law firm with international clients, and before that, in 1994 she trained at the National Bank of Hungary’s international legal department.
In 1993 Eszter graduated from Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Law, where she did a Banking law specialist postgraduate course in 1996.
She was admitted to the Budapest Bar in 1996.
A native Hungarian speaker, she is also fluent in English and able to conduct negotiations and prepare legal documents in English.

DR. RÉKA FÜLÖP
Trainee Lawyer
Réka graduated from Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Law, in 2011. She joined Pakucs Law Office at the beginning of 2012, as a trainee lawyer.
Before attending university in Hungary, she studied law for two years in England, at the Law School of Oxford Brookes University, where she got to know the British legal system and the basic rules of British tort, contract and constitutional law, and gained excellent English language skills. During her university studies she worked for an international law office, where she gained experience in the fields of corporate law, civil law and property law, as well as gaining expertise in multilingual legal researches and the drafting of multilingual legal documents.
Réka speaks fluent English and Hungarian, and is conversant in German.
